The biggie is the handling of capital expenses. Overhauled engines can be "maintenance" or the purchase of an asset.

When you outsource 50% of your airline a lot of assets (like jets as they are paid off) become expenses. By the same token, we can use airplanes we never paid to acquire.

All of this can be picked out of public reports, but few of us do so.

I'm fine with "restoration" as long as we restore scope. Otherwise I don't care how much the remaining pilots at Delta make.

P.S. I'm VERY pleased at our quarterly results, proud to be on the team and thankful to the other tens of thousands who made it happen.
