I am surprised at how much military/civilian chest-thumping is in this thread. I have heard directly from plenty of AF Academy grads/coworkers that say that the place is overrated. I
know that ERAU is overrated....I know, part of my skoolin' was there!
Neither are necessarily the premier educational institution with flight training.
