What does DAL do with the unique Alaska flying that Alaska does?
My guess is that flying would get spun off to a regional carrier that flies large turboprops (for the good runway performance) and that already has experience with RNP (for JNU, KTN etc.) and CAT III (for those crappy days in ANC).
