Just got an email from COO announcing the recall of all returning furloughs (and a stated "double digit upgrade" remark). Looks like the recalls will fill into classes over 4 vacancy bids (Jan-Feb-Mar-Apr). I am of the understanding that the mandatory portion will be offered throughout this period, in seniority order (i.e.: if a recall has some loose ends to tie up they can defer as late as April, depending on seniority and class size). Likewise, the number of new-hires will be dependent on how many accept the mandatory recall. Sounds like the classes will be a mix of recalls and new-hires (unless every recall accepts the first-come classes).
