You guys are right. These SWA guys are out of control.

First, they make more than only the most senior pilots at DAL, FDX and UPS (I'm not senior at any of those places). Then, they have the audacity to not waste time, keep a good schedule, and turn an airplane in 30 mins, all the while doing everything they can to accommodate me.

What a bunch of *******s!

No thanks, I'll stick with DAL 320 drivers who ridicule me for "being stupid enough to apply" for the job I have.

At least he was positive though, spending 2.5 hours telling me how when I'm his age (24 year CA), that I will despise the trips, pay, overnights, TSA (with him on this one already), flight attendants, meals, and lifestyle. Told me I was destined to pickup open-time over the weekends (days off) if I wanted to live "live like an actual human being," and get 100 hours of flying.

All this after telling me hell would freeze over before the flow would stay intact long enough for "any of those stupid bastards" to become his F/O. Guess he mis-read my ID.

The funny thing is, he was doing 33 knots down the parallel taxiway, flew the barber pole the entire way, and left both engines running until external power was hooked up. I can only imagine how he would behave if he didn't like his job.
