No argument from me! I'm just pointing out the inconvenient truth behind the fact that we are viewed differently by the policy makers than we view ourselves.

We reply with "Yeah, but...", and the headlines of Stupid Pilot Tricks gets waved in our face. We remind everyone of how we have a crash axe in the cockpit, and how we've got the yoke in our hands, and how we are trusted with hundreds of lives and millions of dollars worth of airplane...

...and they show the mug shots of drunk pilots trying to fly, or blowing holes in the airplane with his gun, or leaving his gun at Sbarro...

...and the critical element of INTENT is lost in the mix.
