Interesting statement. When the Magenta Line was posted on this forum, many of the UAL posters attacked Jayson like a rabid dog. HE DIDN'T post it, and it was for HIS constituents, yet he was fair game. Now that Wendy has her comments posted, the CAL pilots are supposed to play nice and pay hommage to her? I do find it a bit funny that MOST of the UAL pilots would get a significant payraise if they were given the current CAL payrates, but now they think they should make a lot MORE than us. I'm pretty sure if UAL had merged with USAirways, they'd be hoping they could KEEP their current payrates and not take FURTHER paycuts..........JMHO

Parse the message as you might, but don't mischaracterize this as anything other than the MC keeping the UAL pilots apprised of the current situation. It's a small point, but one that I thought was worth pointing out.
We can discuss the facts, but there is no reason mischaracterize the letter as anything other than what is.
