I agree with you, but in my opinion NOBODY should be subject to this intrusive pat-down unless there is due cause or they are exhibiting obvious threats against aviation security. NOBODY should have to subject themselves to this BS just to exercise their right to travel. Terrorists definitely need to be kept off airplanes, but this heavy-handed approach is just downright absurd and in my opinion does little-to-nothing to enhance aviation security.
