they have not been using them for years, along with the new displays. recently they started using them, but only above 10,000 I think. they started RNAV/RNP training this past year so are in the process of upgrading their equipment capabilities as well.
For the past year SWA has being using autothrottles (-700 only) in all phases of flight, as well as RNAV. This Dec will finish the RNP training so that will start in Jan.
