I cannot comment on regionals, LCC, charters, ect.

All I am saying is that many older pilots told me to keep a good credit score since the "airlines" will check it. Since all of these guys are either captains or retired captains at major airlines, I'm assuming they referred to their experiences when they got hired at a major.

I also read on several airline interview prep books that credit scores are checked. Something to do with the argument "if you are not responsible with your finances, then......" Kinda like driving records I guess.
