I just read all 6 pages and the first 2 were pretty good reading then the personal attacks started and now it is completely off track.
****So back on track****
1. What is the legal definition of terrorism?
2. Who inserted this into the bill?
3. What rights of unionized workers does this trample on?
4. Isn't it the judicial system that says whether a strike is legal or not? Or is it legislative? Either way it's never been executive has it?
5. Have strikes always been able to be trumped by the branch of government calling the shots now or is this a more or less "new" trend?
6. By knicking away at the rights of unionized workers, being able to force them back to work, has the purpose of a union been completely nullified while giving management a "strong arm" on the situation?
7. Does anyone here ACTUALLY BELIEVE that the President of the United States, whoever it will be at the time, would have the military bust a cap in a group of striking pilots and then expect them to return to work? Do you think america would stand for it?
8. Did you know the human head weighs 8lbs but the pilots 12?
9. Are there any current appeals for this being taken to court?
10. Are there any previous established laws for unions that make the establishment of this one nullified?
Ten questions I'd like to have answers to. Perhaps this will keep the thread back on track and in the direction of aquiring more knowledge on the subject rather than stating everyone's political agenda.
