I am current UAA student. Are you looking at the piloting program? If so look else where.

Pros:

• Great classroom education
• Affordable classroom education, once you become a resident

Cons:

• Expensive. Basically $200/hr dual for a 172.
• Only get to fly twice a week.
• Weather. Sometimes you can go a month without flying.
• Huge wait list for starting flying.

I hope that helps. From what I have heard the ATC program is awesome, and I am not sure about the management program.
