For example we just got a $7000 dollar insulin pump that was covered. Byrum has been outstanding for supplies. Delta had a United health rep calling us frequently if we needed help. Very nice. There will be scary times ahead. We have found the JDRF to be a great resource. Also as soon as you and your endocrinologist feel comfortable, get an insulin pump. The increase in precision is amazing and lets kids eat like kids.
