That's a haul to be crammed in that thing for so long. I remember doing a 7+ block on the -800 from BOS-LAX one time - not fun.

Bogata is a very unusual airport with many problems and issues. It was felt that since the flight was flown back side of the clock putting a RP pilot onboard was a good safety practice. Details were worked out between the company and union. It was and is a good practice given the airport and the rest issues on that rotation. Its a nice example of doing something right even when not required by the FAA.
