Just finished sim and word around the school house is that the 11/29 class is a go and more classes in Jan. and Feb. They said they would be upgrade classes, but I can't imagine they aren't hiring off the street. My sim partner does interviews and is scheduled to fly out to SLC for interviews next week. When I got furloughed about 2 years ago, I had filled out the paper work for the Jets for Jobs program. The furlough coordinator called me yesterday about this 11/29 class. I forgot to ask him how many takers he had for the upcoming classes. My guess is that there are not too many left considering they got down to me. I am only about 250 from the bottom of the list of furloughees.
I declined the class but I'm glad that people who are still looking for work have the opportunity to get into a class.
