In summary, I spent 20 years pursuing a dream that sucks up more of ones resources than it should for the meager returns that it offers. I watched as friends and peers fell by the wayside as the career ground them up and sometimes outright killed them. True and lasting success is difficult to come by and becoming more out of reach everyday.
I am no more negative about aviation than advocates against smoking are considered to be negative. Aviation is a dangerously seductive self defeating departure from a normal healthy and productive life.
