Those lightweight headsets looks nice, I was looking at the Sennheiser series, but would that provide adequate noise protection in the ERJ? Is there a particular one most guys use? If not I can always just use my good 'ole David Clark that I've had since my commercial training.
It's pretty loud in the ERJ. Your David Clark ought to be fine unless your hearing's marginal like mine. I have a Lightspeed ENR headset- very light and very comfortable. Use your DC headset for now, there's no rush to get into anything different until you find out for yourself whether the noise will be an issue IMHO
