Airlines Call on FAA to Withdraw ‘Onerous’ U.S. Pilot-Rest Plan
U.S. airlines called on the Federal Aviation Administration to withdraw its first proposed overhaul of pilot-fatigue rules in 15 years, saying the plan is too costly, onerous and defective.
The Air Transport Association, the Washington-based trade group for major carriers including Delta Air Lines Inc. and United Continental Holdings Inc., released its comments on the FAA plan today in Washington.
