I blame Bush for this mess and I blame Obama for this mess. Bush was seduced by the neocons while Obama installed a woman who seems to be auditioning for the remake of 1984. What makes Obama's view so surprising is he claims to be a civil libertarian. Didin't he rail against these tactics when they were conducted by Bush?

The whole situation is sad commentary on how government has become far too intrusive in our lives. Under the fourth amendment, we cannot be subjected to unreasonable searches and seizures. What is reasonable about this police state move? Does buying a ticket automatically mean the purchaser is now considered a terrorist? I though probable cause was needed before searches like this were to be conducted.

Obama's presidency is floundering right now and moves like this are only going to hurt him more. If he wanted to get back some of his popularity, he should immediately fire Big Sis and can the dope running the TSA.
