Yeah, I'm not making that up. That is one of Ron Paul's view. He has the most radical political views I have ever heard, and he will cause far more harm to this country than good.

What's wrong with abolishing the Dept of Ed? There is no Constitutional mandate or authority for a federal Dept of Ed. You know Ronald Reagan advocated abolishing it too.

The real radicalism is a government who thinks that it can do anything and everything, regardless of the US Constitution. It spells out quite clearly what the federal government can do and what it can't. The 10th Amendment takes care of the rest.

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

Is that radical?
