The new United is going to keep the 66 seaters.. everyone get used to it. Pilots have this dream that those wide body guys wont sell us all down the river for a few more $, but the leadership (union and mgmt) have all got their hands in the pie and are just working out the details. Express <67 seats is here to stay in IAH, EWR, and anywhere else mgmt wants, so quit whining.

In a few short years those 1400 UA will be back (if they want to) and this argument over 66 seats will be a distant memory.
