The reversers deploying help counter act that... the most critical I found was when the auto speedbrake was deferred and you have to make sure the other guy doesnt just yank it back. Things could get interesting quick then!

I did, it struck me as strange that if the speedbrakes are deferred your clearence becomes critical...you would think the design would be auto deployment and manual at the pilots request.
