Serious question, what does that do for you or anyone that has already been hired?
bfull,
Just in case you mean it, here is a serious answer;
The first hundred (times 14) plus 37 pilots HAVE already been hired by UAL. They will be
getting jobs back that they had taken from them.
The current pilots working crushing schedules to make up for the large pay cuts and equipment/position down grades, will be able to
return to a better quality of life with improved schedules.
Any additional pilots hired will enjoy a vastly
better income and career potential than they would have at the regionals. This helps
stop the downward pressure on the profession as a whole.
The goal of the JCBA is for restoration of job security, quality of life, and proper compensation.
Hope that helps,
SP
