Thx for your service/sacrifice and hope you are able to make it home for the holidays
17 days but it isn't always 17 with many times less and sometimes more. if you like routine Atlas isn't for you
Initially, I had my doubts to0, but with the TA'd sections and rumor has it trip rig will be 17days/80 hrs plus 22% raises across 5 yrs, 3 weeks vacation, new airplanes, 13% profit sharing. those are great but lets face it long term security is worth its weight in gold. So why atlas? simple IMO, Atlas is already heavily weighted to INT'l Growth in the developing world. other considerations; our falling dollar and Atlas I believe is getting paid in foreign currency thus more profits; CUSTOMER PAYS FOR FUEL! Atlas is well plugged in as a gov't contractor and frankly can do trash hauling for far < and more reliable than the military. Can't remember the last time we hauled pallets on the mil side.
IMO the domestic airline sector is going the way of Ryan Air, squeezing more out of less and they have lost pricing power with the market saturated.
Good luck with your decision!
