Even if I wanted to, I have not passed my AE bidding class yet. On the last one that came out, they only awarded two captain positions and they were in MSP. Meanwhile, my classmates that bid it last January and May are living la vida loca in NYC:
1.) Holiday's off as a blockholder/regular.
2.) Long LAX, SFO, MIA, LAS, ect. layovers.
3.) 80+ hours a month.
I guess I'm stuck here, which isn't so bad (when I don't have to sit reserve.)

Oh I wouldn't change either, its all about the %. There will always be a 9 in the Delta fleet until everyone on the list is probably retired.
And it's good to be on the 9... are friends on the super premium nb have a subtle warning about life there no matter how fun that side stick looks, or how fun that tray table must be, or how big their cockpit is, or how fun their trips look or how well their air conditioning works... there is a price to be paid:
