Wow, I was attacked and not even around to defend myself...... Looks like others did it for me, thanks. Funny how people with no idea of a subject will pipe up behind anonymity. I will add that the only reason I differentiate between dispute and post dispute guys is that post-dispute guys joined using the same procedures one would need to follow as today. I make no judgements or comment on those who joined during the dispute.
Now, regarding converting of licences, I think you're going to find things have changed. I believe that QF and DJ now require passes in all the AUSTALIAN ATPL subjects before they will accept your application. An ATPL converted from a US ATP by passing the Australian Air Law exam is no longer good enough (thank ******* I'm already in). You're in for an incredible lesson on the meaning of the word pedantic but that's another story. I don't know where Jet * stands in all this. All the best.
