I have heard over the past several months that legacy carriers are learning that many high-roller pax are growing weary of the UAX experience and that bringing some of that flying back to the mainline would be smart. But other than that why would they just automatically shift that flying back to aircraft and crews that are clearly much more expensive to operate?
Not sure you understand what we're proposing. Not saying that we should shift the flying to aircraft that are more expensive to operate. If a EMB170/5 or 190/5 is what they want to operate on that route than that's fine. WE'LL fly it. As far as more expensive crews.....we'll something's gotta give. We don't seem to have a problem operating with the most expensive management team.
