I am a military guy considering applying to Delta, I am really confused with the whole pay thing. Trip/duty rigs are already built into that so you can disregard them. 70 hr/month is the minimum, but depending on what aircraft you are on, and your desire to fly, you will likely have some (perhaps most?) months higher than that.
As for take-home, you've got taxes as well as $100-$400 (depending on which health plan and whether you are individual or family) monthly in medical premiums and a few other miscellaneous expenses too.
