IIRC, that issue has been resolved and the back-and-forth fighting words have been put to rest as of a couple of weeks ago. One of our MEC updates said that it was agreed to let the JNC do its job and they were preparing for the presentation of the economic portions during the first December negotiating session.

And, no, I do not know what the solution "is" or "was" as I am not on the JNC and don't sit in the room. It's out of my hands until a vote anyway.
