At Delta, can you pick up trips from other crewmembers on your days off to bump up your pay. Does it make a difference if your on reserve or a line holder? If so is there usually alot in giveaway? Thanks.
Line holders can pick up open time on days off through a white slip. It is paid at 100% credit. If a line holder picks up open time through a green slip it is paid at 200%
Reserves can only pick up open time on days off through a green slip, & it is paid at 100%, but your day off is also paid back.
Without getting too detailed, open time will go to a white slip first. Green slips generally happen when there are no white slip requests in & there are no reserves available. It's one of the last resorts for scheduling to cover a trip.
