I don't believe denying anyone a jumpseat is the solution. I do believe that United pilots again flying routes that were replaced by Express is the solution, and if a particular route is best served by a small jet, I believe it should be flown by United pilots. The means to the end is that UA would eventually grow and prosper, and when they start hiring again, you'd be interviewed for a pilot position.
