Ha!! The whole thing was pretty weird from the start. I would have felt sorry for the scheduler if she wasn't rude and pushy from the beginning. I just checked the flight status and I guess it really was "that bad" in MEM last night. Just saw they ended up canceling the MEM-MCI.
Really?! I can't believe I've had a standing green slip in for the past couple of years (since I figured out what a green slip was) and 2 weeks after getting off the DC-9 they call me with my 1st one. Well, technically, I guess they called me with a Junior Man assignment, but I would have gotten my 1st GS. I guess that's the way it goes. I'm just surprised they couldn't find anyone to cover the trip.
