I'm on the outside looking in and most United pilots have no idea nor care who is doing regional flying for them...
I quote a 777 crew "whaoa! What was that?" As a Shuttle America E170 touches down. "That's your 737 flying" no response...
Good luck to you all.
If I was in Chicago today I would be downtown freezing my tail off with the rest of you.
I sincerely hope you all take it back, maybe I'll have a chance at a decent career.
You are kidding right?

Did I miss any? Do you feel better now? Or do you want me to memorize what routes they are all flying this week? You are right, most United Pilots don't know who is doing our regional flying for us because frankly it doesn't matter. We just want it all gone.

If you think most United Pilots don't CARE about the regional flying that's going on, then you ARE on the outside looking in. I don't think you are going to find more than a handful of guys at UAL that won't turn to the SCOPE section first in any TA we reach. The guys that don't are either SUPER senior and flying on their age 65 Lottery Ticket, or company guys who think we should pretty much do whatever the company says anyway. Those numbers, thankfully, are small.

Trust me, eliminating as many RJ's from the regionals is the #1 focus of most of us, so you can stop worrying about my "attitude". I swear (out loud for the voice recorder) every time I see a 70 seat RJ.... I couldn't care less what regional is flying it.
