That is how I understand it. Report and get released as well. Lots of time they will forget or not notify. LCA's get sick, and by not notifying you, you do your trip as well.
ACL, you're really confusing me here.
You're pulled from trip 24 hours prior and not assigned to anything 12 hours prior. Why would you go in? If the LCA gets sick 8 hours prior, wouldn't they have to find a new Capt AND call a reserve FO?
