Ferd;
I am going off the assumption that if pulled from ones line and there was no notification, by default, even though it is not on the pilots line, there is no notification stating that he has been notified, or the trip is truly pulled.

Having a trip removed from your LOT is fine, but it does not constitute notification. Heads up, yes, but unless you are called, you are still obligated. If the LCA sicks out and you have not called within 12 hrs of report (no obligation) and do show up and subsequently the LCA has sicked out, you have no showed a trip. There is no notification except from Scheduling to state the trip is not yours.

It is a big ole circle Ferd, but until you talk to scheduling the trip is yours. So if I have not been notified, I just show up. I have had it happen twice where the trip was removed, but I was not notified. I showed up and the LCA no showed the last minute. I went, even though it was not on my line.

Best advice is to set an alarm for 12 hrs prior to report, and call them at 11+58 asking about it. I live locally so it is of no consequence to me. I let them call me. Calling over there always leads to an unknown!
