I don't remember the PFAA being all that popular, but again, I never cared enough to look at it closely. There has always been a big fight between the old Teamsters, those wanting an inhouse union (PFAA) and then AFA. I'm enough of a good business major to believe that unions aren't necessary in a perfect world (that includes ours). But, I also work in this industry and I'm glad I have one........we have another thread to debate which one.

Maybe an inhouse union is something the south FAs can get behind, you know them better than I. Like I said, I predict about a year after the AFA goes down (and I think they will) they will get that chance. Just another chapter to this story.

My apologies, somehow I got it in my mind you were talking about Pan Am flights attendants and their former union. How I got that from your post, I don't even know(?). Which is why my post is barely related to yours.
