I happen to very much like my UNIFORM leather jacket. Comes in handy for the cold morning originating preflights. With the inner liner, I think it's warmer than the blazer/overcoat combination. Also is much nicer on overnights. Take off the stripes and nametag and you don't need to carry another coat.

But again, the 'P' word is brought into the discussion. I don't care if you'd wear a toga if that's what your FOM specified as a legal uniform item. As long as it's approved for you and your employer, I'm not one to judge.
