Don't know where you read that or wrote it, but it is simply not possible. Over the last 2 years, I've had coach exactly 0 times, and I know of no other pilot or FE who has (outside of the month or two where Evergreen management was knowingly violating the contract, before they lost the grievance). Your mileage will NOT vary on this one @ Evergreen.
As far as Kalitta, I will say that it is nice to have home basing, for sure. Would I trade it for coach travel? Hmm . . . get back to me after I have to ride JFK-PVG direct in a coach middle seat, and no lounge access before the flight either.
Totally spot on with the 'everyone isn't cut out for ACMI' though. This job is
not for everyone.
