I'd love to see it done. It's best for all pilots involved, but what exactly is our picketing doing to de-rail the negotiations? Either there's enough cost savings there for them to see the JCBA through to the end and our picketing will do nothing but let is get some frustrations out of our system, or there's nothing there, 9E management is stringing us along, and our picketing still lets us get some frustrations out. 9E management is certainly not doing this because it's best for the 3 pilot groups. They're getting something out of it, either a delay in integrating XJ/9L and a delay in 9E going back to the NMB and Section 6 or cost savings.
Progress is evaluated on a daily, if not hourly basis, by the JNC. It's impossible to tell where each side will stand at 90 days or 120 days.
Those who volunteered to negotiate this thing need to be given the benefit of the doubt at the table. When talks break down to the point they don't believe they can get anywhere, they will be the first ones to let us know. They have the firsthand knowledge. Then we walk in circles at the airport together. That's my point of view.
