So while I may not agree that this is the time to picket it would have been better for the mesaba and colgan mec's to not say anything than it was for them to actually come out against us. When all of this is finally over I will always wonder where the "other" guys stand. When we still don't have a joint contract and the planes start moving are the Mesaba and Colgan pilots going to look to us for support?
They will get none and do not deserve it. I don't think they understand. This JCBA would be great for all of us, but the best for Mesaba and Colgan. You guys don't know who you're dealing with. You need this JCBA for protection. Think TSA and GoJet, would you really put that past a mgmt group who has been negotiating for 6 years. I really start to wonder sometimes. Who is more desparate for this JCBA? 9E is obviously cheaper to run, think about that from the business stand point. Look at it from the share holder's point of view. THEY DON'T CARE, THEY WANT RETURN ON THEIR INVESTMENT. 9E mgmt is smart guys, don't fool yourselves. They always find a way to get what they want. Let that tickle your brain while you make an effort to make enemies in your own durn Union. A Union is only as strong as its members. We look like a joke to the industry right now, all 3 of us.
