I just got done reading the last system bid.
It sure looks like your info was pretty close to the bid that just came out. The bid was even better in numbers, too bad they cancelled 98 of the previous 787 awards. Looks like the bid was manpower neutral with the 7-late-7 delay.
I hope the Jan 2011 bid will open the LAX base, and create slots for UAL guys as well.
Your "somewhat reliable sources" got the first part right. Here is hoping they are on target again.
