Uhhhh.... if one yoke is up and the other down... and the autopilot disconnects I don't know what to do.... I have never in 2.5 years heard of that test and have never seen anyone perform it. Who do you work for? I know at CJC we are not required to perform such a test. I would imagine if you are on the ground and engage the autopilot that nothing would really happen. AHRS needs (I think) 70 seconds to perform its check but that should be unrelated.
