15 hours. Overall the Delta and NWA reserve systems are a wash in my opinion. The NWA system honored seniority a little better. Senior pilots could do all long calls and rack up the hours as long calls were used first. Other senior pilots in base could avoid flying by doing all short calls. At NWA, if you had a single day of reserve left, you were always short call (negative). We only had 11 and 12 days off at NWA. At Delta we have 12 and 13. I really like the 2 hour commute at Delta when starting a short call. At NWA this was a big no-no. At NWA, reserves had the same minimum day credit as lineholders and the guarantee was 75 hours. That's a huge negative at Delta. Nothing offends me more than being paid less credit than my lineholding captain just because I'm reserve.
