Nope, but I do have family in the Little Neck area of VaBeach (who I stayed with when I was ORF based) and know it ain't exactly "low rent".

Having lived outside DC Metro and knowing the area between DC and NYC, yes the Hampton Roads area as a whole is the cheapest option between DCA, PHL and ORF. Norfolk proper, maybe not...but within an hour's drive of the airport? Yeah, there's stuff to be had.

Like I said in my original post - cheap is relative.
