1. There were no furloughs at 9E when that LOA was done. Not before and not after. Management refused to furlough even though we were fat about 120 pilots. The first time 9E furloughed was immediately after 9/11.

2. The attempt at "enforcing" the LOA in 2005 was an attempt to bring pressure on Mesaba management. It was a b.s. claim from the beginning. If the Mesaba MEC thought otherwise, they could have taken it to the Mesaba System Board, as per the LOA. They didn't. That ought to tell you volumes about what the Mesaba MEC thought of their claim.

You have obviously bought into the crewroom mythology of your airline.
