I was told by a TSA-er on the way out to Southwest/Air Tran that Trans States Holdings is so short staffed that they need every warm body they can get. Gojet hired someone who had previously been declined. He said that now that everyone is hiring, there are many leaving and thinning the ranks of TSA in the process. Rehires are cheaper than new hires, and have a record of success... so it is likely in their best interest to get us through, though they have made worse and ridiculous choices before. Who sees a strike coming?
