Nothing wrong with knowing them but I think the problem lies with those who open up the contract, look at compensation at their aircraft/year, and then close it up.
Colgan pilots talk about wanting relief by making a nice hourly wage because of the years of substandard rates. However if this contract is as good as many are talking, the real money will be in the soft money throughout the contract. We Colgan pilots know very little about soft money so we need to start to understand that real money is made outside of the compensation section.
I for one am very happy we have reached a TA and think that a industry leading contract is why our new pilot group will need to help unify us for years to come.
