Just reading the "holiday message" from our Dir of Flt Ops and ran across this little tidbit:

"Many thanks in advance to all of you who will be flying the line on the holiday and over the even busier weekend that follows. As you know, crew reserve coverage is being kept at maximum levels for the final periods of November and December, which will make a significant contribution to our overall preparedness."



Maybe I read it wrong, but I'm not quite sure that available reserves of 0's and -1's constitute "maximum levels"........
