Thanks everyone
The Airport Marriott is part of the Marriott campus which houses Res Inn, Courtyard, and maybe another hotel. They provide transpo to/from the airport but not to Atlas training center. I took a cab, it was $15 one-way. Courtyard shuttle will take you to the Atlas training center, though. I only stayed at the airport Marriott b/c I had a zillion Marriott points and didn't know what I was doing, otherwise I would have used Courtyard.
Also, there's a good Latin restaurant within walking distance, and a K-Mart about a 15-minute walk if you need something last-minute. Brush up on your Spanish!
Some other tidbits: Bring a letter of recommendation (not necessarily internal) and a cover letter to go along with your resume. This is just one guy's opinion here, but as far as guard hiring goes, they certainly help, and I got the impression they helped at Atlas also. HR gives you a red folder upon arrival to put all of your paperwork in, slip 'em in here; your interviewers don't take them. And don't forget to send a thank-you letter right after the interview.
I also found it strange they didn't ask for logbooks, but I'm sure they know what they're doing. The resume review was detailed, and I'm sure if applicants fudged the numbers they'd know. Not a recommended practice anywhere, anytime. Again, it seems as though this interview was not about who had the most time in the most complex equipment, or who could build a Rolls engine in their mind...it's more about personality and compatibility.
Here's a big thank you to everyone who has posted here, reading these forums really helps to understand the company and get some solid gouge!
