sounds like 2 EMB ORD, 7 EMB DFW, the rest were ATR's MIA. not sure what I'll bid-if there's any EMB ORD guys out there how long does the reserve look like it could last? would I be wise to bid ATR and then go CRJ after a year? and, what am I about to get into? (good or bad) good luck to all those interviewing coming up, I've said this before on here but eagle again reiterated today they plan to hire like crazy in 2011.
Thats a surprise to hear there arent any newhire CRJ slots. Maybe they already have enough in the training pipeline to account for the CRJ deliveries. If you live in a base then bid whatever equip can get you that base. If you will be a commuter then I would think MIA ATR will have some serious movement with MIA ATR FOs bidding for MIA EMJ FO, and CA upgrade positions. You can also hang in the ATR for a year or two and then bid the jet when the dust settles and youll have a much clearer idea of what bases/equip you will be able to hold a line.
There is no doubt Eagle will be hiring like mad for 2011. It is a great time to be interviewing and starting as a newhire. Good luck to everyone out there who is waiting on a call!
